Probably the Beyerdynamic DT770 in that case. I liked them for gaming. The Ultrasone HFI780 is another option, but it's brighter (probably better for pop).

Are the Over Head SMS Audio Street's any good?

I like the look of them, don't fancy a pair of Beats as everyone I know has them.

Listen to all genres of music.

Thanks.

That's a little unclear... Do you need something to fill a room? Computer speakers? Portable thing?

PestilenceHD wrote I don't get why people say Beats are terrible... They have great bass and 100% Quality... They are great.. Probably better than those this guy said was the best.. Just because a black dude has over the ear headphones in a studio doesn't mean they are the best bro.

You can believe that all you want, but you're wrong. Would you like me to get you some hard evidence that proves Beats are bad? Also, the picture with Dre in the Studio is a joke and it's a confirmed fake.

Something that can fill a room and still get a little louder, maybe a shelf system?

Hey r00t,

Budjet: 200 GBP, although will consider recommendations a little higher than that.

Music Preference: Dubstep, Hip-pop, Dance, Electronic, Rap etc

Type/Form-factor: Preferably over ear, would consider on ear.

Open/Closed: I think closed.. but i'm not too sure.

Listening from: Iphone 4S

Details: Gotta look good, sound good, possibly have the option to attach a mic/boom.

Thanks, really appreciate all that you do here and am very much looking forward to see what options you make available to me CS8

Nope, just as bad as Beats and for the same reasons. There are plenty of other good-looking headphones that actually sound good.

These will do that, but I'm not sure they're what you're after.

The T3130 will meet all your expectations as well.

The V-Moda LP2 sounds perfect for you. They're Beats killers, they look good, they sound great for the music you'll be listening to, they're portable, they have a removable cable, and they look awesome. You can get customized panels for them ("shields") as well from V-Moda's site.

Root Beer, I would just like to thank you for introducing me to all these amazing headphones.

I got the V-Moda LP2's today (early christmas gift) and I have not taken them off since I got them 3 hours ago. They are soooo amazing, I can hear things in songs I have never heard before, I didn't even know audio can be this clear and non-distorted. It's like discovering a new color. I can't even begin to describe how much I love these headphones. They are light, very comfortable, look amazing, and sound better than anything I have ever heard before. These headphones make all beats and skull candies seem like a joke. I am actually excited to go back to school so I can show off these babies to all my friends who got beats for Christmas.

My only complaint is when I plugged them into my amp the audio is so clear I heard all the mistakes I was making and how sloppy I play guitar.

Although you didn't recommend these to me directly I saw you recommend to a lot of other people, and if it wasn't for this thread I would have never known about these awesome headphones.

Seriously thank you for this topic and for introducing me to some great headphones. And merry Christmas.

Problem.

This: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] has more natural mids than this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The T50P has a really nasal upper midrange that makes vocals just awful. I don't know what to do with them now. Good think I didn't get the Manufaktur version... This is just really upsetting. I'll keep them and try to mod them. They're the most portable thing I have other than the Image One, and thankfully they're better than those.

An angry letter is in order.

Well... Didn't see that one coming. I seem to recell hearing the T50P was mediocre and I guess this affirms it. They look very difficult to mod, so good luck.

Glad to hear it! I remember when I got my M50s and that's exactly how I felt. Watch out, it might turn into a very expensive (but worthwhile) hobby!
