I don't get how they would take our guns when that would be going against the 2nd Amendment. We have the right to bear arms. They are also wanting to deport all the people that are protesting which is aganist another amendment, we have the right of protest and freedom of speech.

The government might as well rip up these rules of they take away firearms from us fully. If they take are right to own a firearm, they better expect me waiting in the supreme court.

Maybe they should stop selling them in stores and make it so you need a licence to own/use one... BRB just going down to the mall to buy an AK-47 ill be back later.

More people have died from drugs and tobacco than from murders by guns, yet their isn't a ban for those. They attempted this before in 1994 but their were SO many loopholes that it had no effect.

There are 2 funny things about people trying to ban guns
1: guns cant kill people( so wtf why ban them they cant get up one day and shoot random people, a man/woman does)
2: 90% of gun violence is commited by a person who can not legally own a gun(so im pretty sure banning guns wont help(ex Newton, adam lauranze? or something didnt have a weapon permit he stole them from his mom. Eric harris bought his gun illegal(columbine) so trust me it wont help.

Also in the state of georgia theres a city called keensaw georgia in which your required to own a gun to live there, they have one of the lowest crime rates in the country. then look at chicago(obamas home town) has the most gun violence in the country(one of them) and they have serious strict gun laws. so you tell me why are the crime rates lower in a place with guns than without? phsycology, criminals do crimes for the feeling they get and the more illegal it is the better the feel or the more attention theyll get

Its people like you, the people who know absolutely nothing about firearms, firearm laws and regulations, or firearm culture that make me extremely frustrated. People who want to obtain a firearm need a FID that is issued through their local PD or State Police after thorough background checks and mental health inquiries are completed. The fact that you actually thought someone could just walk into a store and buy a firearm without any identification or background check is pure proof to your lack of knoweledge with weapons and regulations, so someone like you should not put their two cents into a conversation that you are very alien with. And even in the states with very lose gun laws and the stupid gun-free zones, those states have almost zero violent crime with firearms as compared to very strict states like Connecticut and New York. When will people learn that prohibition of anything wont work. It doesnt work with pot and drugs, it obviously never worked woth alcohol, so what makes people think prohibition of guns will make things better? I really wish people with no knoweledge of the subject would just not butt in with their nonsense. Let people have guns so they can protect themselves or use them for sport, like I do. Banning guns wont work. Letting law obiding citizens puchase the firearm of their choice through an FFL holder after going through the NICS will work. Come on people, use some common sense.
