Just because it is an AMD CPU with 8 cores does not mean its good, just putting that out there.......

you might want to check this site anandtech.com

go to the benchmarks section and chose the two cpus you want to compare. Just saying don't just think it is god-like because it has 8 cores. Some of the phenoms are better then the FXs (8 cores).

I thought he was talking about FX as well though the i3 doesn't look much better or worse than the phenom 6 and the i3 is cheaper. But, he said he is now going with a 8 core processor (FX). So in all reality he is downgrading.

The 8350 is a better option than the i3, like it or not. The FX will definitely beat it in desktop applications, while in gaming, it'll get a slight boost over the i3.

Oh didn't realize what model he was using I just looked briefly at some benches. I really need to ask before posting this is the second that has happened on this post alone lol
