I want to truly believe in God, but science seems to have all the answers.

Well I do believe there's an afterlife and we'll go to heaven, but by no means do I follow a religion as they just cause too many problems. So I just follow my own belief's and be happy!

Religion is something made up to make rules for people. One example is that people were terrified that their Master so called "God" would punish them for doing a crime or breaking the rules for each country.

I believe in a God but i really dont believe in any religion i used to be Catholic but not really as much anymore

We live in a world where people believe and praise something in hopes for a reward because they are too afraid of the life they live right now.

During the Middle ages Religion was used to make the church rich during the plague.

There is also a theory that Jesus had a daughter. If this got out, the Church would have lost everything it had built around the lie of him being perfect. [Having intercourse with a Jewish minx doesn't exactly stand well for the son of a God] so they initiated the Witch Hunts, eliminating all female descendants of Jesus and all who had knowledge of his daughters existence. Why do you think Mary's gospel was left out of the Bible and considered 'lost'.

Ancient kings' cities were in turmoil and what better to control people with than the threat of eternal hell fire if the plebeians were not good to one other?
