The thing you need to do is find the middle of the problem. Sure not playing Xbox at will help you but also you should be able to manage your time and play it when you have free time NOT all the time it took me some time to figure that out and once you do, you can do both!

I was a student with strait A's i went to school everyday and as soon as i got my Xbox i lost everything i never went to school or anything and now i got console banned i been going back to school and everything is awesome it was a god send you sold your Xbox to be honest!

I don't play much xbl anymore because I am bored of the games I own. You dont have to quit though just only play when there isn't anything else to do.
