If you are worried about not being able to barspin or tailwhip, get a gyro.

If you skate and bike I wouldn't suggest it, because dragging your feet and/or sticking it on the back wheel really screws up your shoes.

They really don't reduce that much weight anyways. So the only reason that you would want them off is to be cool.

Another reason why I keep my brakes on is because my city is all hills, so I need them.

Remember that this is coming from an experienced skater/biker.

Its really your choice. If you think you are good enough and are willing to take the risk, then go for it.

I personally do not BMX, but I see a lot of BMX bikes brakeless so it must be for some reason. I say to for it and if you don't like it then you can always put them back on.

Why in gods name would you want to remove your only means of a safe stop? Ask yourself one question: "Am I willing to get seriously hurt or die from not having brakes to make my bike a little lighter and make me "cooler"?"

I don't think that it's worth it bro, but it's your choice.

Why would you not want to be able to stop your bike?

That does not sound very smart

Believe it or not they put brakes on a bike for a reason...
