With any number to the power of a fraction you do the root in the form of the denominator and then you do the result of that to the power of the numerator so do the cube root of 64 which is 4 and then you do 4 to the power of 4 (4x4x4x4) which is 256.
Again with the second question in the first column you do the sqrt of 1/64 which is 1/8 and then do the reciprical of it which is then 8 thats what the negative sign on a fractional indicie does.
3rd question in column 1 is the (sqrt of 1/25)^3 then reciprical so it is 1/5 ^3 which is 1/125 then becomes 125/1=125
Question 1 in the second column is sqrt of 4=2 then 2^5 which is 32 then as there is a minus sign you do the reciprical again so its 1/32
Question 2 on the second column is the cube root of 27/125 which is 3/5 then the numerator is 4 so you do (3/5)^4 = 81/625 then flip it because of the reciprical so its 625/81.
Finally the last question in the second column you need to make the mixed number into a top heavy fraction then complete the question so 2.25 becomes 9/4 ^ 3/2 so sqrt the 9/4=3/2 and then ^3 so:
(3/2)^3 =27/8
DO NOT WRITE THESE IN BECAUSE I JUST REALISED YOU NEED TO WRITE IN MIXED NUMBERS.
27/8 for example is going to be 3 3/8 because you get 3 whole 8s in 27 with remainder 3. the remainder being the numerator and the other 3 being the coefficient of the fraction.
Hope this helped
PM me for any more help and good luck with the homework
