Not to be a dick, but we can state our opinions to. We're being respectful, if anything you aren't by avoiding our input. I honestly gave myself a chance to believe this, but in all honesty I knew most of this already from when I went to church.

Anyway, these signs are present no matter what time period. Children are always rebellious, Earthquakes always happen, technology is always abused. This doesn't just mean cell phones, but anything that makes life easier and is man made could be considered technology, even a wheel, Christianity has always been looked at oddly by many non-Christians, Countries always plead with each other, etc.

The bible in infamous for being vague, it can be interpreted in many ways. Why do you think so many versions of Christianity appeared overtime?
