I used to play a few years back, but i had a cheap no-name guitar.
I'm looking at starting to play again, I'm thinking about getting a Epiphone Les Paul 100. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

But in all seriousness depending on what you play. That's a pretty nice guitar for clasical kind of music, I personally like the les paul flying v looks awesome.

Looks aren't important. Even tho the Les Paul is pretty sexy.

Epiphones a nice choice, you can never go wrong with Gibsons.

Great guitar for starting out again!
Les pauls have lovely tones even though it is the child brand to gibson it shouldn't be under estimated, i used to have one years ago and they play beautifully, I am now an acoustic singer/songwriter so i don't get to use electrics as much anymore but yeah it's a good buy mate!

I've been playing guitar since I was 9, I'm 17 now I've owned many guitars during this process, This is probably one of the best to get back into playing,

I currently have Japanese 1991 72' Re-issue Stratocaster, a 2010 Fender Custom shop 65' Strat, a Taylor 414, a Martin DX and HD-28.

Also out of curiosity what kind of music do you like to play?

:wat:

I'm so jealous. I always wanted a vintage Strat (specifically a 68'), and a Martin. Can I come to your house and jam????

I personally don't really care that much about the appearance, it's just a great sounding guitar for quite a low price. My friend plays and Epiphone Dot (left handed) , and also has a $3000 acoustic (left handed).
