You should be able to. I'm pretty sure you could when they migrated from the original Xbox to the 360.

I don't care about the Next Gen Xbox, I'd rather spend the money on a Gaming PC. It would be easier than having to waste money on Xbox accessories and games, I could get them cheaper with a better outcome.

That's really annoying, just a money making scheme from Microsoft.

Nobody ever said that you have to by the 720 and honestly... A new console was bound to come out sooner or later. The 360 has been around for a pretty long time and they have probably been putting a lot of work into the new console.

And $100 for a game? That's a bit ridiculous.. And a lot of the other stuff that you said may not even be true... As of right now a lot of those things are just rumors being spread around and we won't know for sure about any of those details until it's closer to the release date for "Durango"...

I definitely think it's a good idea

Here are some reasons:

Games can be super cheap (for instance right now just cause 2 is $3 on steam. the steam summer sale is INSANE)

You never have to buy a new system and you can upgrade parts what and when you want. No such thing as "next gen" because it's constantly evolving.

Controls are actually much simpler and customization

The community is generally VERY friendly. I've been gifted things on steam (games, items) from people I don't know and for no reason.

Don't have to pay for live!

Shit that really pisses me off is people relying on rumors like no used game and $100 game. CAN IT BE REVEALED FIRST!!! We all thought the ps4 couldn't play pre-owned and it's confirmed it can. I really wish people would wait till the damn think is reveal instead of thinking stuff based on articles that rewrite shit for one source that may not be even reliable.

They will probably cost $60 like the regular games (games).
