Basically exactly what Lightyear said but now both countries are instigating a war. The thing about this is that the U.S. has an economy at it's current state that a large scale war would be a complete detriment. And in the past week the U.S. has sent 3 B2 bombers 6500 miles over the ocean to drop missiles at the North Korea South Korea border and try to claim that they are not trying to start a war.

How so? Typically a war boosts the national economy.

Well not necessarily because you have the standing costs to pay you soldiers and than after you have the pay the expenses for items such as guns, planes, bombs, etc. for America. But you have North Korea with the same expenses but they do not pay laborers or soldiers a quarter as much.So that is my explanation.

Right, you pay the american people to work... that gives them money which they then put back into the economy. It doesn't hurt, it helps. WWII was like, the biggest producer of jobs since the industrial revolution.

Well the thing is that people do not want to buy as much during major intense wars like this would be considering that people would be afraid that if they spend their money or put it in the bank then there could be another Great Depression like event that leaves them to a major shortage of money.

N. Korea Thinks they are powerful, but they will get destroyed by the U.S if they start this war.

China is more of our ally than North Korea. They are getting tired of North Korea and they understand where North Korea trying start a nuclear war is a problem. US is a big buyer, if not the biggest buyer, of Chinese products. There is no way they would ruin that.

Yes America does have the power to fly the B52's there and back, North Korea does have the nuclear capabilities to hit the western United States
