Ok so i am buying my first graphics card and i am looking for either an AMD 7770 or 7850 or equivalent in the Nvidia Range!
Everything you need to know about my pc:
Running Windows 7
i5 3570k Processor
Msi Z77A G43 Motherboard
XFX Pro 550W PSU
Prices range around 100-150Pounds!

External power supply? You don't need anything outside of the case, if that's what you mean. And it's a regular ATX power supply, so yes, it will work with all your hardware.
