Xeport 5010 and keep them in a case when you're not using them. I don't remember if they come with one but you'd have money left to buy a case.

Another update in my everlasting quest for satisfaction: Just got a Sextett and $200 for selling my D12, which will go to buying a Momentum, which I really, really liked when I demoed it. Perfect chill-out headphones that don't have the wonky mid problem my T50RP has.

Tried recabling my Sextett. Stupid terminals were worn out and snapped. Now they're paperweights and I'm theoretically crying.
Fixed them.

Do you just want wubs or the rest of the sound spectrum?

Also...I hate this hobby. The tonality of the midrange of these $20 Yamaha HP3s that I bought is better than my freaking K702's. I just bought an ESW9 from a HF member for $65, which I'm excited for. I can't wait to compare the two, since after mods, they're similar from what I remember the ESW9s to sound like. I'd love if the HP3 sounded better...they're more durable.
