I have a new pc. and it can any other game on max with good frames but not GTA 4. I know the game is optimized at all. But I got a good card((Specs below)) Please help me out to get it running faster.. Thanks! -TTG WAFFLEZ.

SPECS:

CPU: AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)

GRAPHICS: XFX - Ultra Overclock Edition Radeon HD 7770 1GB DDR5

RAM: 8gb ddr3

POWER SUPPLY: 500w solid gear atx power-supply.

MOTHERBOARD: MSI 760GM-P34(FX) (MS-7641)


Please help me out!

You can't expect to max it on a 7770, it's not a high end card. It's a mid end card and is mainly used for budget systems. At 1080p you won't max it.

I can run any other game on max fine. I put GTA IV on the lowest settings and it still ran shit.

That isn't a high-end PC. GTA 4 is poorly optimised for W7. That might be you're problem

i cant see why it is lagging, should run fine as your other games are running perfectly.

Exactly, I think i should get a new powersupply that actually has a 6 pin connector in pow supply and not a 2 molex to 6 pin connector.

You're power supply has nothing to do with it, As I said before, GTA 4 is a badly ported game, it hates new hardware.

It's not your computer the game isnt optimized. It was ported over from console to PC. So pretty much noone can run it really smooth
