Would these be a good option to start with for a nice speaker setup? I was looking around and I have about $80 to spend on some. I'll be using this with my pc.

I'm wanting to get as wide of sound as I can without sacrificing any sound quality. I can go up to about $100 if it's worth it, but i'd like to stick below $80. Also, thanks for your help with this.

Ishcabible wrote I just got a review sample of the new DUNU DN23. Dang, these have a lot of bass. I can't use them for more than half an hour without feeling a slight headache. I couldn't even listen through all of Random Access Memories with them on.

What does this sound like through them?

If they become available for overseas then they might be a buy for me too. My IE2 have just come back for their 3rd replacement in less than two years. Oh dear.

I think r00t has that exact setup.

I hear some weird timbre things, but that's probably the song. None of the bass goes particularly deep in the song, but the pulsating midbass doesn't get out of control, which is not the case with the lower end IEMs I tried with that song. It's not headshaking in that particular song, which is a good sign.

What do you think of these for the price?

Well from what I've gathered, gemini have bought iKey Audio, or there product range. I've had my eye on their speakers for ages, then they disappeared. I've found them again, and for much less.

What are your thoughts? 120 GBP for a pair of, in my opinion, amazing looking monitors.

Where I am now, I can blast out my music during the day, however I'm moving back to the UK, and to a more populated area where I won't be able to listen to music really loud. I think monitors will be the best thing. Only on a tight budget though.

Okay, thanks for you help.

Any way of getting the Xeport shipped to Australia without costing too much? I checked the shipping on Xeports page and the postage was $40.

Thanks
Hamish

Send them an email. I remember that they were shocked by how absurd the shipping was and came up with a way to remedy that.

I wish I could help, but I have no idea how these sound, nor do I assume anyone else in this thread does either.

As a side note, I finally have a nice amp coming in the mail. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] It even comes with the spiffy remote.
