Exactly, either way you say it you broke the new PC, at least if you tell the truth you'll have a clear conscious not having to worry about him finding out the truth, plus dropping a pc and plugging it in wrong plugs surely wont be the same damage would it?

im sure you can get it repaired, or just tell your dad that it stopped working and that it could be a manufacturing error of some sort. take it in to a local pc store and im sure they would beable to fix it for cheap
