I do hope you know that Microsoft confirmed that the Kinect doesn't have to be plugged in to play. They are just including them with the Xbox so the Kinect Games developers can get more income and get more noticed.

The Xbox One does not need the Kinect to function. Microsoft has confirmed that the Kinect can be fully unplugged and powered off and the Xbox One will still function.
