What I do with scratched disks is call my local pawn shop they have a machine that will restore it like new. They only charged me 3 dollars but it takes like 15mins. My disks came out looking like they had just been purchased. So call your local pawn shop and see if they have the machine also. Some will and some will not. The guy told me he paid over 5k for it, but since he resells a ton of movies and games it has paid for itself.

Cover the disk in clear tape (sellotape) tightly and keep it in the fridge overnight. In the morning peel off the tape and it fills in any gaps left by scratches and should work as if it is a new disk.
