I think it is highly possible now and will be even more so when the Xbox One is released. I am sure they have some sort of recorder in their servers to record all texts, audio, and video of everyone. The Xbox One will be using Skype, so that is very likely since Skype is used for Prism. They aren't sitting there listening to everyone, but they will be listening to those that catch their attention. Prism along with the NDAA give the government close to unlimited power. You can guarantee they capitalize on it, too.

I wouldn't be surprised either. There is more then likely a lot of stuff the government is listening in on as an invasion of our privacy. Why would the xbox be secluded?
