Since there is pretty much no discussion in this place, I'll attempt to get a few responses out of you guys regarding Halo 5's popularity.
Okay, let's face it, Halo isn't the King of Xbox right now, and it's Reign ended pretty much in 2009ish (so to speak) and has been declining ever since. While Halo 4 did manage to receive millions of sales and set a new height for its first day sales its online community is low sometimes Halo 3 and Halo: Reach are passing it up. If you take a look at [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Halo 4 isn't at the top, it's sort of (in my eyes) gravitating towards the bottom, not good. Many people were expecting a Halo 3/2 type of game from 343i and a lot of people lost their trust in the company since that didn't happen, at all. They went towards a new type of players which wasn't needed, because it had a perfectly good community as it is but they wanted to go all out and try and bring new players in.
So my question, do you think Halo 5 will excel on the new Console? Where we have new technology, room for innovation? Do you think 343 will get rid of all the wrongs that they made in Halo 4 and fix them in Halo 5?
Opinions?

Halo is doing what COD is, they're stretching out the series too much. That's why people don't play Halo 4. Maybe Halo 5 will be different but I'm not sure.

I honestly hope it goes well, but I'm pretty sure it will. With all the hype over it during E3 it should do well.
I'm excited for the campaign.

Halo used to be the king in the eyes of the audience. Nowadays its all about Battlefield, CoD or GTA, they are the current kingpins in gaming. Halo will always be the series that stands out for me, Halo: CE was the first ever Xbox game I played and was possibly the most fun. I have to admit I do miss bungie, but 343i can still make it live up to potential, same characters and gameplay is really what matters. Anyways, I'm getting older, shouldn't really be talking about what I plan for myself in the future. What I've learnt about Halo 5 surprises me so far, a lot of secrets to be learnt, really cant wait. (:

I believe the Halo series has gone down hill since halo 3.
Don't get me wrong I still love halo 4 but not as much as 3.
