I was sceptical at first, however it is by far the best OS, and there is no windows button? there is still the windows key on you're keyboard haha, the start menu is just now a full screen, go for it, Windows 7 was average at best anyway

Since you posted this in the PC Gaming section, I assume you're talking about its performance. In a lot of games, Windows 8 has better performance than 7 and it boots, shuts down, sleeps, and wakes faster.

I love windows 8, in my opinion windows 7 was a fail, but only because it crashed on my computer all the time no matter how many times i restored my computer, whereas windows 8 stopped this. Some people just prefer different things:)

I like some of the features in Windows 8, the Windows Store is a pretty neat feature too since there are some pretty cool things that are listed in there.
The Start button may be a problem but there are a lot of 3rd Party Programs you could use to make up for that, which is what I got.
I think you should give it a shot!

My dad has Windows 8, it's faster than my Windows 7. I like and think it's easy to use, but it's extremely different and will take time to get used to.

Do that and never have to enter your password again, as for the topic I like windows 8 much better than 7, don't see why so many people hate it.
