i am trying to update to ios 7 beta 5 and i keep getting error 3194 i have restored my phone and re installed itunes and i will not work i have iphone 4 btw if anyone can help me plz pm me i need help

Follow the Instructions to fix error 3194 using Edit Host File

to successfully fix error 3194, it is recommended that you disable the following things on your PC:

Close iTunes
Disable Firewall
Also Disable Anti-Virus if you do have running on your PC.

STEP 1. Follow this path to locate Host File on your Windows drive C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

STEP 2. Now once you locate the host file, delete it and Download this customize file and paste it in the same folder. [Click Here to download the Custom Host File]

STEP 3. Now restart your PC.

STEP 4. Now put your device into DFU Mode.

STEP 5. Once you complete the step 4, Now open iTunes and Restore your Device normally by Hiting the Shift Key+Click on Restore.

Now I hope so, by following the exact steps you will successfully solve Error 3194 in iTunes.

What IOS device do you have?: iPhone 4S
What Firmware is it running?: 6.1.3
What is the problem your having?: I want to update to IOS 7 Beta but when i try to downlpad the files i wont let me becuase i have windows 8 if there is a tutorial please let me know and if you know the prblem please respond.

Will the beta work on the 4S? I also heard that using this beta could potentially ruin your iDevice. Confirm or deny.

The beta should work on the 4s.


The beta can only give you an activation error, to get out of it you have to restore back to iOS 6. You won't be able to go on iOS 7 until it's out of beta.

I have an iPhone 4. It's running ios 7 beta 3 and I'm trying to update to beta 4 OTA bc the beta 5 doesn't even show up. When I click install it does not verify and says ios 7 beta 4 update failed because you are not connected to the Internet when clearly I am. is there a way to do this on the computer that could help? Oh and my udid IS registered

If your UDID is registered then you can download the iOS beta 5 ISPW and do it via your computer with no problems.

yes but only a tethered jailbreak and only on A4 devices.
