The 58% of the nugget which is "chicken" is actually "left-overs such as tendons, tissue, cartilage, organs and other parts. As the story explains, the parts and pieces are 'ground into a fine poultry paste. Because that paste is typically crawling with bacteria, it's washed with ammonia, and treated with an artificial flavoring. To get rid of the pink color, the paste is dyed.

Hey, even if it isn't real chicken, it still tastes good. I read a while back that they use the whole chicken (beak, feet and all).
I'll continue to eat it anyhow. ^.^

It's obvious McDonalds foods are processed, you can tell when you look and eat it.
