This article had nothing to do with comparing consoles, it had to do with comparing demos that ran on a high-end pc compared to the consoles. Like the article said, "it's also important to remember that we are still months away from Battlefield 4's release. It's clearly a work in progress." so it has nothing to do with what console he played it on, it had to do with it being a unfinished demo that just so happened to be played on the PS4, same thing would of happened on the Xbone...

Its because he is used to PC which has far better graphics.
The PS4 and Xbox One will be 720p which doesnt look as good as 1080p on PC's
if you want the best graphics just get a PC.

The game will be better on Xbox One and PC because of the Direct X optimization.

The PS4 and Xbox One will both run at 1080p 60fps for most games. Hell, even the Wii U will be able to do that.

BF4 has been announced to be at 720p and 60fps for next gen consoles. But recent rumours are saying they are trying to up that. But they won't be native 1080p it will most likely between 720 and 1080.
For games like COD which have outdated graphics they will most likely be 1080p. But for the best looking games they will not be in 1080p.

BF won't run 1080p with 60fps, that's what DICE tells us.. but in reality it will be upscaled 720p with less than 60 fps. these consoles are not capable of running BF4 in those settings

Their comparing $1000+ high end gaming Pcs to a $400 console what did you expect? Xbox one has already been confirmed to be weaker then the PS4 lets just leave it at that.

"Frostbite 3 Supports DirectX 11.1 API Faster GPU/CPU Performance on PCs and Xbox. DICE confirms that the Frostbite 3 engine supports DirectX 11.1 API as revealed by DSOGaming."

We use DX11.1, there are some optimizations in it (constant buffer offsets, dynamic buffers as SRVs) that we got in to the the API that improves CPU performance in our rendering when one runs with DX11.1. This will be in BF4.
This means that PC and Xbox One versions of Battlefield 4 would be more optimized than PlayStation 4. Theres also a hint at AMDs Next Never Settle Bundle featuring Battlefield 4 as a free title which is a good deal for AMD users."

But the PS4 has a way better GPU which is crucial in games.
PS4 GPU 1.84 TFLOPS
Xbox One GPU 1.23 TFLOPS
Xbox 360 GPU 0.23 TFLOPS

You can see it is a big difference. Both the Xbox One and the PS4 are very easy to code for because of their PC Architecture. But we will have to see when they come out. People will do youtube video comparisons.

It doesn't matter about TFLOPS it matters mostly on GHZ also Ps4 not having Direct X11.1 will screw up graphics/gameplay on game engines that require it, like Bf4.
