If you want to do it, you can do it, I wish you the best of luck, don't do it for the money though, do it for the enjoyment, when you do decide to make your channel tell us it and I'm sure plenty of the community would love to subscribe and watch your videos!

It's definitely worth a shot.
Try to make as much work as you can before posting. Try to make the episodes 1-2 weeks in advance so you aren't pushing to meet any deadlines you set for yourself.
There are lot's of people doing the same boring stuff on youtube so try to do something that will set yourself apart.. Take requests, search for things people haven't done before.. Simply be unique.

It's worth a shot and you'll never know until ya try. Every day it gets harder to gain fame on youtube but there are always the people who slip through the cracks and get "known" and you might as well go for it!
