For whatever reason you bought up Knack preorders and said they're higher than Titanfall. So I bought up CoD GHost preorders saying they're lower than previous CoD preorder numbers because of the next-gen consoles. People don't know if they're getting Ghost for their PS3 or PS4, some people don't know if they will be able to get a PS4 at launch, so they don't preorder it. I never said you said anything about CoD Ghost, nor is against the rules to bring up another game without you mentioning it.

Titanfall preorders are lower because;

1. There isn't a official release date outside of spring 2014.

2. It's coming to PC, Xbox One, and 360.

3. It may be coming to PS4.

While Knack is a launch title so of course preorder numbers will be higher.

1. They know when it's coming out.

2. They will need a game to play when they pick up their PS4.

3. They don't have to worry about if they're going to buy it for PC, PS3, or PS4.

Personally, I think the X1 and PS4 will both be great consoles. Though, for my money, I will go with the X1 because I want an all around entertainment hub. If all I wanted was a game player, I would stick to current gen consoles. Though I respect Sony, I don't think their fanboys are worth spitting on. So, allow me to correct a few misconceptions. Lacking loads of other features does not make the PS4 more "game focused" it merely means that the X1 can multitask. As far as the DVR function, true X1 will only offer this feature to Gold members. However, let's keep in mind that Xbox Live will have over 300,000 servers and cloud computing. I don't mind paying 17 cents a day for the reliable servers and social experience that Sony simply can't offer. Also, there are SEVERAL PS4 functions that Sony will only offer to PS+ members. Now, about that $100 price difference, the X1 includes the Kinect sensor and a free game. Sony said that they refuse to include a free game with their console because who needs a new game compatible with the brand new console they just bought, right? On top of that, what Sony doesn't tell you is that there are also several PS4 functions that require the PS eye and PS move. If you purchase a PS4, PS eye and PS move (equivalent to an X1 + Kinect) you would be paying the same price as an X1 but without all the extra features and abilities and without a free game.

In closing, PS4 and X1 are both great systems. It is merely a matter of opinion and, ultimately, choice. So choose whichever system you like. However, get the FACTS before deciding, instead of just listening to Sony trash talk Microsoft at every convention.

Went with a Xbox in 2006 mainly due to the price difference... have been through 2 RROD consoles.. 2 account bans resulting in over $1000 worth of dlc lost.

I picked up a ps3 to use in my spare time in May 2011, COD Black Ops 160 GB Bundle..shortly after the whole psn going down thing.

Didn't like it much at first but slowly got more into it...have a account with maxed out prestige's in CoD, 13 platinum trophies now.

Joined plus in March 2013 have no regrets at all about it...a much better value than what Xbox gives you.

I still own both consoles now but the last 2 years have mainly been PS3..I don't know after 5 years on Xbox it just has got boring to me in my honest opinion.

Make me feel very confident in doing so...a 120,000 gap in pre orders on BF4 on PS4 compared to the Xbox one...and that is in America the home of the Xbox...it also leads in CoD Ghosts which is very surprising to me.

Sure I did enjoy the early dlc and all of that stuff on the Xbox back when I was 16, I am 21 now and don't really care for all that as much as I used too.. I'm really looking forward to this gen things are looking good for the PlayStation 4, I do however plan on having both consoles by the summer of 2014.

VGCharts is notoriously unreliable for actual numbers. I have nothing against either console but I would suggest using a more trusted source than VGCharts.

Also, the age gap between 16-21 is the difference in whether or not you prioritize DLC? I had no idea. I am in my thirties and have been a gamer since 1985. I still get excited on the morning of a new DLC release.

A lot of false statements right here please do more research before correcting people. Seriously no disrespect not trying to draw in the way to many Xbots on this site and I agree about some of the features that aren't gaming on the XB1 are good and not bad but really A LOT of false statements right here.
