Moby wrote America did a lot, but it was a joint effort, and like Axe said, it doesn't really matter, the good guys won.
Exactly, be thankful we're not Nazis

Walkers wroteAxe wrote lets be honest, if we didn't help out, the Germans would've taken over.
I know that a lot of countries helped, but as soon as the states joined the war, we instantly started gaining ground.
Its not really that big of a deal IMO, atleast we all won the war.
How would the Germans have taken over? I don't want this to turn into an argument btw.
Well.. Easily. When the U.S. entered the war, the British Army had been fleeing back to Britain. Which ultimately led to the many bombings of Britain. In all honesty, if Britain was not seperated by sea from France, the SS would have taken Britain..
Also, I think people forget that we, the US, only entered due to the fact Britain was the last democracy left in Europe, and due too the Germans bombing our ships, and the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

I'm just thankful I'm not speaking German
And if anyone knew their history it was actually the Russians that defeated German leading to the suicide of Hitler,
England, France, America and Canada only help re-conquer France
No, the Allies together stopped the Nazi Army. In fact, Russia actually helped Germany annex Poland, and Finland in the late 30's. The other allies had somewhat come to an agreement to not enter Germany. In all honesty, the Russians themselves, held off the SS when they tried invading the Soviet Union. The only reason Stahlin wanted to invade Germany was due to the fact Hitler went behind his pact with Stahlin (to remain neutral) and decided to try and take the Soviet Union.

We wasn't 'loosing' we had just achieved out main mission of evacuating French soldiers and civilians out of Dunkirk, and preparing for a German invasion.

The US just came in at the last minute and decided to take credit for "defeating the Germans". The Allies would have won without the US's help, and while the US did help the Allies defeat Germany, they didn't single-handedly do it. Britain, France, and others did a lot more to help than the US.

I'm from the uk.
At the end of the day, America and the uk both came together to win the war; no one one the war single handedly!
That's why the us & uk are so close.
