Hey guys do I want to get a new laptop to replace my MacBook Pro I have now. I like my mac but it is really old. I want to get a non-Mac so I can play games but I don't want a strictly gaming laptop like an Alienware. Any suggestions?

Ah Alienware. Claiming their laptops are strictly for gaming.

You'd be better posting this in the PC Gaming/Building/Support sections. You'll get far better answers.

Also post your budget.

My Budget would be well probably like $1,000 as it will probably be a Christmas gift. But if I buy it with my own money. Then probably $1,500

I built my PC for 1,500$ but I use it for intense gaming.

I suggest buying a pre-built if you're not going to be playing games 24/7

Do you use it for gaming? Like Steam gaming or not as intensive gaming. I am looking for a moderate gaming Laptop.
