D4rkExit wrote This looks interesting!

EDIT: On picture number 8 it says "Left click anyway on the screen..." I think you mean "Left click anywhere on the screen..." ;)

Thanks for pointing that out, although I did notice this yesterday and it has now been fixed

comment by me further up:
"I am aware there are many bits in the messages that do not make sense, i didn't realise them until after I uploaded the screenshots. They have now been fixed in the game."

Sorry I kind of failed there, I forgot to read the second page haha! I'm so excited for release! ;)

All 39 of the overwhelming buttons are now in place, so I can start programming the rest of them now (i have done 5 so far :/)

The 'design' selection is now in place, there are 6 designs, at the one in the picture is the last one that you will unlock

some more options finished:

and even more are done, nearly finished other than the ones on the right which are going to be which company/brand you want that part from.

Other than the company selection bits, the 'Develop New PC' section is complete. It even tells you the recommended power supply. if you go to low then you will get customers complaining that there computer keeps shutting down, however if you go to high they will complain their electricity bills are unnecessarily high.

The computer below has the max settings for all the pc hardware. If you choose 32-bit rather than 64-bit, you can only have a max RAM of 6GB.

I am using a program called game maker, this program makes making games easier (tho still not that easy) than other programs/engines because you can use drag and drop or coding (i mostly use code tho,). That's why this game will be easier than some might think for me to make. I also have a fair bit of experience in both program and game making so it is really down to time rather than difficulty.

I use Game Maker a ton also. What version do you have?
I personally enjoy making android games with it.

Cool to hear it, a lot of people have never heard of it but I think that it should be more popular because it is great for beginners but you can also make some really advanced games with it. I am currently using Game Maker Studio 8

I can't believe the progress you have made already! I thought this would be one of those "I'm gonna make a game and be rich and famous" threads, but clearly I was wrong.

Game maker sure has come a long way since last time I saw it

Keep up the good work :bigups:

I'm actually stoked for this, although the UI is pretty ugly and sketchy looking, for a non-funded and one person made game, who is complaining, maybe if you get a beta version out and get some people playing you could get donations or something to help pay for say a designer or someone to revise your code etc.

Just a suggestion but don't turn into a greedy ****.

haha, originally I was going to make this because I wanted to play it, but it didn't exist and thats my motivation to get it finished quickly, but then I realised I should release it to everyone

good to hear you're looking forward to this. I agree that the UI isn't great and the all the buttons are actually quite overwhelming but like you said I'm on my own, and I want to get it finished, the UI wasn't really a main priority. I probably won't have a beta as such, but the first iteration of the game will be released by 27/10/13, possibly earlier. this probably wont include all the features such as making your own parts but it will help me out because people will find the bus and come up with improvements. I may also release an update with a nicer UI, once the game is finished.

I am currently adding in all the comments that you will get when your computer is reviewed. There will be 200 in total as you will get a rating out of 10 and each rating will have 20 comments. If you would like a comment put into the game that i could use for when the PC is reviewed, add them below.
examples:
1/10: You expect people to pay for this?
6/10: I wouldn't recommend it
10/10: W.O.W.
