I might be wrong though

They are waiting to support these new iPads to be jailbroken as well on the iOS 7 jailbreak. The new iPads will be announced this Tuesday so we will have to wait and see what happens then.

According to Surick, it won't support winter board either.. Good thing I have two iphones and one is still one 6.1.2

Tuesday is the announcement of what they are releasing(iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2)

Honestly, I don't know if a jailbreak is necessary for iOS 7. I feel that with all the new features of it there's not much else you can really do with a jailbreak, unless you count all the themes.

I completely agree with this. The only things I really use when I jailbreak my iPhone are usually the tweeks, like the 5 icon springboard and the icon dock but other than that I really don't fully customize with different themes and stuff.

I'm just a plain guy.

I seriously hope it's untethered.
If it's semi teth or tethered it is a waste.
