Ever since I bought Battlefield 4 for the PC, I've been experiencing these frequent lag spikes that will bring my framerate down from about 100-90 FPS to about 50. I am aware that the game is very demanding, especially being run on ultra settings at 1080p but I have a SC GTX 780 with a 7000 MHz effective memory clock and an 1150 core clock and an i7-3770k at 4.1 GHz. Who else is experiencing these lag spikes? I know that the game just came out and probably isn't optimized completely with updates. I am obviously running the newest Nvidia driver. The game is still playable but this is annoying considering I spent $650 on this card a couple of months ago. Not to sound snooty or anything but I thought these kind of problems in Battlefield 4 would be more prevalent with previous generation and lower end cards, not the 780. A full fix will probably only come with a title update from EA themselves but does anyone know of any possible ways to avoid these drops in FPS? Any help or information is greatly appreciated.
