I highly doubt a console ban. DNS server history is not actively monitored by Xbox, it'd simply be a waste of time, money, workers, and space. The most I see happening is a cheaters pool or account ban. You cant discriminate for console features whose history isn't even monitored. Further, this would be a different case for Jtag console coming online and modding the game. Considering the masses, atleast a few million people, performed this glitch or were tied to it in some way, you'd be banning most of your player base, most of whom will not go out to buy a new console. See, business is about making money. Banning off your player base puts a bad reputation on how you do business, and severely limits your profit options. Also, the fact is, Rockstar has little to no way to detect whether you ended up accidentally getting into a lobby(which is highly probable and possible) or that you hosted, or that you did it solo. So, as stated above, a cheaters pool or account ban seems the most probable given what is currently built into the game and what seems realistic.
