Mountain Biking:

Downhill

Used for extreme 'downhill' mountain rides, Full suspension.

Occasionally you'll find them with different tread for different uses, like for a triathlon, they usually take place on different surfaces that need tread.

700 is the tire's diameter, and the second number is the tire's width in millimeters.

BMX:

BMX has different types of bikes used for different types of environments.

Used for dirt riding/jumping

Where to buy:

You can find most of the bicycles I listed at your local bike shop, items that go along with it like gear and other accessories you can find on the internet, if you don't live near a bike shop you can just order a bike off the internet and have it shipped to your house.

Events:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] A mix of many events, consisting of enduro races, dirt jumping events, bmx events and lots of other sports mixed in as well.

Not at all, the bikes he used for the BMX section are pretty old, therefore they are cheap, the bikes he listed there are mostly steel, the newer BMX bikes are 4130 chromoly, one more thing, BMX is classed at 20" and under, i really dont know why on earth you have a 26" MTB in the BMX section, that confused me.

Thank you and all you need to know about the bikes you read about can be found by going to one of the websites I listed below, 26" I listed as being the highest, you're right there aren't that many of them.

Added 'fat bikes' for the recent cold weather we've been seeing, there's been an increase in sales of these bikes because of it.
