Mountain Biking, Cycling, BMX and all other bike related information!
Here you can talk about anything relating to bikes, Tour De France, X-Games, Dew-Tour. Anything!
Mountain Biking:
Downhill
Used for extreme 'downhill' mountain rides, Full suspension.
Suspension in the front and rear.
Frames: Carbon Frame |x| Aluminum Frame |x| Steel Frame N/A
Wheel Sizes: 26" |x| 27.5" |x| 29" N/A
Trail/Freeride/Enduro
Used for trail riding, freeriding, endurance trial races
Full Suspension, and Hardtail (Bikes with no rear suspension)
Fat Bikes
Bikes used that have 'fat' tires made for riding in the snow and other rough more intense conditions.
Frames: Carbon Frame |x| Aluminum Frame |x| Metal Frame |x|
Wheel sizes: 26" |x| 27.5" |x| 29" |x|
Cycling:
Race Bikes/Road Bikes/Cross Country
Very light bikes used for riding very far, racing and exercise
Occasionally you'll find them with different tread for different uses, like for a triathlon, they usually take place on different surfaces that need tread.
Frames: Carbon Frame |x| Aluminum Frame |x| Steel Frame N/A
Wheel sizes: 700x23 |x| 700x25 |x| 700x28 |x|
700 is the tire's diameter, and the second number is the tire's width in millimeters.
BMX:
BMX has different types of bikes used for different types of environments.
Dirt Jumper
Used for dirt riding/jumping
Street/Freestlye
Used for tricks and street riding
Frames: Carbon Frame N/A Aluminum Frame |x| Steel Frame |x|
Wheel sizes: 16" |x| 20" |x| 26" |x|
Where to buy:
You can find most of the bicycles I listed at your local bike shop, items that go along with it like gear and other accessories you can find on the internet, if you don't live near a bike shop you can just order a bike off the internet and have it shipped to your house.

Added 'fat bikes' for the recent cold weather we've been seeing, there's been an increase in sales of these bikes because of it.
