if your wanting to use turtle beach or any other headset you could always do the 'mod' rather than paying for an adapter!? very easy to do and all you need is a 2.5mm female jack, and very little soldering skills!

Personally what I do is use my 360 USB Port to power My turtle beaches and plug the green cable into the TV and then you can hear all TV sources with your headset.
