I just got information that teachers are allowed to still "Hit" children! I have gotten information that students parents can {and are} signing petitions in their towns to let them hit their children if by the child doing something wrong. It is said that already one state is doing this. What are your comments on this? I haven't found any other information about this. I know because we heard it in class the other day. But I am not 100% sure so if you are please give me feedback

If a teacher hit me with a belt or anything I would hit them straight back.

Link on where you heard about this? I'm pretty sure a teacher can't hit a child..

It is NOT legal.

A teacher just got fired/sued for putting a student in a headlock; AFTER; the student punched the teacher in the face.

False, read about this a few weeks ago, only in 1 state can teachers hit students. That's all. It's illegal everywhere else.

-> Make kid angry
-> Profit

Hitting kids doesn't work.
It sometimes works on 8 year old's and down, anything above that and the teacher can expect a slap back.

The 19 states that allow spanking in schools are: Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.
