All jokes aside, I think its horrible that people think that hitting kids is a good thing. If anything, it will traumatize their childhood.

That is messed up, I don't think teachers should be able to do that.

Thankfully California is not on that list because if it was and a teacher hit me back when I was in school, oof, I'd straight up just fight them. Now if it was a hot girl teacher I'd probably act like I liked it.

If a teacher is badass enough to put a kid that just punched her into a headlock, then she deserves her job.

It is 100% Illegal, it would be considered assault and battery for the Teacher.

If I teacher touched me. I would attack them and then get a claim!

if i get hit that teacher will get hit back and they can expect there car windows smashed and their tires popped easy as that

I don't know how it is where you went to school but the public schools I went to wouldn't tolerate teachers hitting students. Out of self defense is a different story. Self defense and fighting is a different story too.

I live in Illinois but things might be different in other states like you stated.
