I would literally just strangle my teachers with my belt if they even laid a finger on me.

No in kentucky teachers can't hit kids. But if the student got in a fight and hit a teacher the teacher can hit them back in self defends. I know his because I live in kentucky.

I don't believe this. Whenever I was younger I was misbehaving, and a teacher made me sit under a desk. I told my mom who went to our board of education. She got fired soon after.

Physical punishment is very frowned upon mostly everywhere in the united states from my understanding. Could you inform us which state did this and its crazy ?!!

If it was to become legal then charities which act on child abuse would instantly act up on it.
Also, this will more than likely lead to children being seriously injured or worse due to some teachers taking advantage.

However; on the other hand there are some people which deserve to be thought a lesson. I do however believe that this would cause more harm than good.

For example if my child was to be hurt by an adult hitting them then I would immediately get that teacher and do a lot worse, I'm sure any caring parent would ('I am not a dad by the way )

We had a teacher called Mr Crossland, he threw a chair at someone. He also threw a dictionary at me. It was quite funny though, we did wind him up though so I took it like a man. (I cried and went to the head of the school)

Teachers shouldn't be allowed to hit students, i mean why would they? there's no need to do that kind of stuff at school.

I don't think this is legal, I mean why should someone permit to hit child's..?
And if my teachers would hit me, they should run ;)
