Ok so this is nothing tech related but it just really pisses me off when I go on YouTube and just see hundreds, if not thousands of videos of people revealing tricks.
I bring this up because I was doing a trick known as the 2 card monte (performed by David Blaine) and the person I was doing the trick to stopped halfway and said he knew the trick because he watched a tutorial on YouTube.
I feel like it just ruins it for them though. It gets rid of the sense of amazement when you see something unexplainable happen. I know magic isn't really looked on as a cool thing to practise, but for me and many others it's a way of getting to know people, breaking the tension when meeting new people etc...
I just had to get this off my chest thanks for reading any comments welcome.

Why does it matter if people reveal a trick anyway? Magic is old, and you can't stop the inevitable.

I agree and disagree.
I agree because I hate the thought of some 16 year old watching a video of a trick being done over and over just to see any flaws in the magicians movements, making a video and posting it like he's just revealed to the world that magic is fake.
I disagree because I love knowing how a trick is done.
I'm not one of the people who will see a magic trick and think knowing how it was done would spoil it.
If anything, it's intriguing to me how they do these things.
I think your rant should be more about people who know how a trick is done pointing it out rather than just going along with it.
That was a dumb move by the guy you were trying to perform to.
