its called REM paralysis. it keeps you from acting out your dreams. Sometimes if you wake up suddenly you can still paralyzed. so yes it is real

Sleep paralysis isn't something that we can choose to believe in, it's something that has been proven to exist lol.

I have never had sleep paralysis, so I can't give my opinion but it sounds scary

I believe in lucid dreaming, im not to sure if you would classify them as the same thing but, i would.

I have experienced it, I was sleeping on the couch facing a window, "woke up" and started seing falling stars and strange objects flying tru my vision and then i relised that i couldnt move, The strange thing was that i didnt wake up i just stop seing it and i was able to start moving again, Sorry if my English is a little messed up its not my first language
