In my opinion windows 7 is better. Only because windows 8 is more of an xbox kind of confusing layout. Overal I chose windows 7. Default desktop. Always a task bar, easy management

Recently purchased a new laptop which came with Win8.1 and have been using it for 2/3 weeks but still can't get used to the OS, I can't run some programs that I have used on Win7 and I just don't like the way it feels. I'll be installing Win7 soon and partitioning my HDD.

Windows 7, but only because i think that Windows 8.1 is far better for touch opposed to being a desktop.

It's pretty much based off your personal preference. I have used both and I don't mind using either one.

I have gotten use to Windows 8 and I really like it.

I prefer Windows 8, just seems much smoother.

Although I do like the themes on Win7.

After going over Windows 8, I have managed to compile a list of everything that is better about it than Windows 7.

  • The font.

Yep.
