Some people may just be trying to help the TTG community by giving out gold.

I'm pretty sure a fair amount of the people though are just wanting the awesome badge.

Fair enough you are helping the TTG community, but this is basically bribery? Bribery does not = Awesome badge.

And why does everyone try and do everything for the awesome badge now? It's a few pixels ;o

i agree. people seem just to be doing it for they get attention in the community and maybe get known.
