What if you just bought some really expensive item like an expensive RGH/JTAG.

And it is being shipped.

And something happens to it. For instance, the 18 wheeler falls off of a bridge and then it the cargo sinks to the bottom or the cargo gets hijacked.

What would happen?

Like would you get a refund from the post office, would you have to suck it up, etc.

EDIT: Nothing of this nature has happened to me. I just want to know what would happen to you.

Aha, well i would say its unlikely, but i guess you would get a refund from the company? not really sure though.

Im sure they would send it for free and give you some kind of discount.

unless you kick up a major fuss and hassle them for ages they will probably do nothing. Thats how it is with most companies nowadays...
