What do I lose with a reset, and what improves with a reset?
All your userdata like photos, music, text messages, etc.
Make a back up first then do a restore.

I find that so weird. I would recommend for you to go to apple.com and speak to a representative. I have the iphone 5s and I think the battery is quite good, even thought I think the 5 had longer battery life. Again, it's still under the 1 year limited warranty, so they'll just make you an appointment with a local store and you can get a replacement.

I live in a part of Ohio were a Apple Store is no where close :/ I'll factory restore it eventually.. First I gotta write all these songs down that I have. (There on a App and won't recover.. That's for sure)
