Just like every other apocalyptic scenario before, this one is just another lie most likely.

There are countless things where people have said that the world is going to end. None of it's been real, they just like to scare people

Plus, that's 18 years away. Who knows what kind of technology we will have by then. I just know it will be so advanced, will we be more advanced than any other part of the world.

Yeahh, they'll make it interesting and real.
Sure, there might have been "an asteroid heading for Earth" but what they really mean is "an asteroid that is nowhere near the Earth but we'll say it anyway because, why not!?"

So did 2012 my friend and that didn't happen. No one can predict the 'real' end of the world. I don't think the asteroid would end the world. Things change in 18 years, even the courses and speeds of things. The chances are it would just pass by. It really depends on the earths positioning.

Heard about this There are thousands of meteors heading for earth right now that are more than triple the size of earth and would easily destroy it, but obviously we can't see them as they will be coming in hundreds-thousands of years ahead of our time.

I have heard so much about this stuff and I honestly can say, I don't care. I will not be alive to care if it does or not and my kids will not either have this problem. Why care about something were not going to be alive for to see if it's true?

No, the Chelyabinsk Meteor exploded in 2013.
21st December 2012 was the end of the last Baktun in the Mayan calender which was incredibly misshapen by the media into being an end of the world prophecy, when Mayan belief in fact entailed no world ending scenario.

To be fair, if it was coming our way.
Why be scared?
It would be over in seconds, probably the best and most awesome way to go!
