It's really not that hard but, at the same time finding your first job can be difficult because you have no experience and most places don't just give anyone who walks in the door a chance. Once you get experience you honestly shouldn't have any problems. I know you're probably thinking how you get experience if no one is willing to give you a chance. I honestly couldn't tell you because I wondered the same thing. You just have to apply anywhere and everywhere until you get hired. Keep in mind you won't be making a huge amount of money and that'll be anywhere you go but, you have to start somewhere. So take whatever you can get when someone does give you the chance.

I have been trying to find a job since September. Its hard and really annoying. Nobody would even consider looking unless you have experience, and some apprenticeships do that too. I suppose we just have to keep looking and looking until we find something.

The UK Government is phucked m8.
You cant get a job because our "disabled" and "hopeless" government is allowing migrants and asylum seekers from all over the world UK citizenship, thus increasing popularity and competition for jobs.
And most of these people are happy to work for LESS than the UK minimum wage.
No wonder people are racist these days... I'll say no more

-3D wroteSanctorum wrote I completely agree with this. I feel like it's impossible to become employed if you're under 18. I am 16 years old and am leaving school but have no job to go to, so I will just be lying around my house all day while my friends are at school.
I have 2 years of work experience in a fast paced, cooking environment and applied for work in KFC, I was rejected in less than 5 minutes. It's a pi$$ take IMO.
I'm in the exact same position ...
But the fact is, in the UK, you have to be in further education till 18, so I can't just stay at home. And I 100% do NOT want to go to college :sarcasm: So I have to get an apprenticeship...
Do a level 2 at college in the thing you want to do as an apprenticeship, it helps so much

I just think it is funny at the amount of people that think once you go to college there will be employers begging to hire you.
