I cant stand hearing noises in the dark, im always paranoid of someone breaking into my house from watching the Elizabeth Smart movie when I was young (Wish I would have never watched it).
Also when I was around 5 at one of my older houses I encountered a ghost in the middle of the night, I couldnt move but it was right in front of me, I was screaming and my parents burst throught the hallway and it dissapeared once they turned the light on. It was a one time experience and I was fine, a year or so later we moved across town, CRAZY part was we would visit the neighbours at that same house and the new people who moved in said they saw a ghost in the same room a few nights after moving in, pretty crazy!
Im going to look up the house and screen cap it on google earth, haha its the perfect fit for a horror movie house, and its already proven it to me.
Yea, that'll be great if you can capture it

kudzu wrote I actually used to get it occasionally but I started sleeping on my side and that fixed it.
That's intriguing cause I've noticed I only encounter it when I lay upon my back.

Even if I fall asleep on my back, which I rarely do because I'm not used to it, I end up waking up on my side.

They've also said sleeping on your back and playing video games before bed increases your chances of sleep paralysis or lucid dreaming not sure why sleeping on your back would but playing video games just before you go to sleep increases brain activity and if you start to fall asleep before your brain is ready your chances are greatly increased

No, i myself have never encountered this.
Sounds similar to lucid dreaming. Could also just be a very realistic dream.

I guess laying on your back because when I lay on my back and get it, the ghost figure is on my chest/stomach.

Its not, if you've ever shared a bed with someone. They can tell you. My brother has tried talking to be thinking I was awake and after I actually woke up, I could tell him what it was.
