well idk there are ways to increase chances of sleep paralysis but they arent backed by hard facts just speculation you can try. And this made me think have you ever experienced lucid dreaming?

Most of the time I'm asleep I experience lucid dreaming.

I've had this happen to me a few times. I tend not to get scared from it but it is a pretty weird experience to feel.

luucky ive only had a handful of lucid dreams that ive remembered anyway

IDK if this is the same relation but I remember one time at my uncles when I was about to fall asleep I was able to see some type of figure across the room, the room was dark and I wasnt able to gain access to a light, I heard some noises, but I was staring at the figure in the dark across the room for several minutes.

I cant stand hearing noises in the dark, im always paranoid of someone breaking into my house from watching the Elizabeth Smart movie when I was young (Wish I would have never watched it).

Also when I was around 5 at one of my older houses I encountered a ghost in the middle of the night, I couldnt move but it was right in front of me, I was screaming and my parents burst throught the hallway and it dissapeared once they turned the light on. It was a one time experience and I was fine, a year or so later we moved across town, CRAZY part was we would visit the neighbours at that same house and the new people who moved in said they saw a ghost in the same room a few nights after moving in, pretty crazy!

The first example is exactly how it happens to me.
I had a image of my mom in front of me then it vanished once I opened my eyes.

Im going to look up the house and screen cap it on google earth, haha its the perfect fit for a horror movie house, and its already proven it to me.
