He should NOT have too pay this back, i mean c'mon an immature 18 year old i think the majority would spend it. The bank should have to pay the bill not him maybe even have the bank sue'd due to there stupid mistake.

It was not hes fault it was the banks fault he should prosecute them and take them to court

its the banks fault for putting the money carelessly in his account but he shouldn't have just spent the money instantaneously without being mindful about where it came from..

IMO he should not pay anything back the bank should pay compensation to the guy whose money it was as well as give him more such errors should not be made in dealing with s of other peoples money

In the UK there are laws prohibiting the spending of vast sums of money that are likely to have been accidently placed in your account... With the premise being that everyone makes mistakes, so you can't blow 30 grand and then just pin it on someone who accidentally placed the money there.
