At my school we have 3+ bomb threats a year. We use to evacuate school when it happen and go home but now my school doesn't care and thinks people are playing around because it never happens which makes me feel unsafe since we stay in school and no searching goes on. Also at my school people get jumped all the time just last week 4 people got jump by a gang at my school called squad and they all were in the hospital with two of them in comos and the others with major concussions. My school is pretty dangerous but there our some more dangerous schools like sandy hook or at that school were the guy stabbed 20 people. My school we aren't even allowed to have book bags so people cant bring guns and stuff so we have to carry all of our stuff my hand.

Just crazy people out of their mind looking for attention going around killing people.. Kind of sad..

Why do people shoot up schools?

In this case, the kid was probably just very...I wouldn't say bored, but he doesn't know his limits. Doesn't sound like he would do it. If he told his friends, odds are something made him want to get stopped. Could be attention, making a statement, etc.

Why do people shoot up schools? Well first we have to question strange things and inconsistencies in stories. Take a look at the Newtown shooting. I'm not saying that it was an inside job, and the stories change as more facts come in. However, there's videos that make it all look like it was an act. In a case like Columbine, the kids were just really fed up from the hardship of being outcasts. I think that, mixed with their inspirations, got them to actually shoot up the school. It's hard to understand without knowing how these people really think.

In my opinion I think people are doing this for one of two reasons

1) being they are actually mentally insane

2) they just want attention through the media
